About SOS

SOS was founded nearly twenty-five years ago as a peer-led, community-based alternative to the mental health "system." Since then, we have contributed to the lives of our members, and to the wider community. Click below for more about SOS's work and vision.

Latest News

While we continue our Winter reorganization, SOS will be open reduced hours. Until the end of March, we will be open from 11:00 to 3:00, Monday to Friday. Beginning April 4th, we will return to our regular hours -- noon to 5:00, Monday to Friday.

SOS is a place for support, advocacy, and information for people in emotional distress or crisis. At SOS, you can find
